The purpose of this document is to provide non-technical leaders with an unofficial, yet useful, “quick reference” of definitions of select cybersecurity terminology to support their understanding of the cybersecurity environment. This document is not meant to serve as a “how-to” guide or contain all the information necessary for leaders to take action, it is only meant to support an overall understanding of cybersecurity terms.
