NYSAC Releases SFY 2025 Executive Budget Impact Report

Each year, NYSAC publishes an Executive Budget impact report, highlighting the areas of the Governor’s Executive Budget proposal impacting county governments. Notably, this year, the Governor included several NYSAC priorities including the ability for counties to receive sales tax collections from vacation rental properties, reforms to the in-rem property tax foreclosure process, investments in public safety 9-1-1 communication infrastructure, a comprehensive proposal to address the EMS crisis, and most importantly, no new unfunded mandates.

This report continues the process of our budget advocacy throughout the first half of the 2024 legislative session.
