Assistant County Attorney, Sullivan County

The Sullivan County Department of Law is seeking to fill the following position:

Assistant County Attorney: Attorney with at least two (2) years of full-time paid legal work within New York State in matters falling within the purview of Family Court, specifically: child abuse and neglect, foster care, adoption and child guardianship proceedings concerning youths adjudicated as Juvenile Delinquents, and/or who fall under the: “raise the Age” initiative; and/or in matters involving Child Support establishment and enforcement, “Fair Hearing”, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a law school recognized by the New York State Education Department. and two (2) years of full-time paid legal work within New York State in matters falling within the purview of Family Court.

SALARY: $109,017.00-$125,000.00 based upon qualifications and experience.

NOTE: Applicants must be admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar at the time of appointment.
