Administrator of Care Center at Sunset Lake, Sullivan County

Sullivan County is seeking an ADMINISTRATOR OF CARE CENTER AT SUNSET LAKE.

The Care Center at Sunset Lake is a 146 bed Skilled Nursing Facility licensed by the New York State Department of Health, offering skilled restorative care in a therapeutic environment for those who need rehabilitative care as well as a therapeutic environment for those who can no longer live independently. This facility also provides a 34-bed memory unit (secure) and a medical model adult day program. The Care Center at Sunset Lake provides short term placement for restorative care, short term respite stays or long-term placement. The facility is located in Liberty, New York.

The Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, managing the operation and implementing the policies of a nursing home. This includes making operating decisions, providing general supervision, employing and discharging staff, programming and where appropriate, integrating the services of the nursing home with the community's health resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a bachelor’s degree or higher and successful completion of a prescribed course of study and qualifying field experience as required by the NYSDOH Part 96 of the NYSCRR and possession of a current New York State licensure and registration as a Nursing Home Administrator.

Salary: $98,396.00-113,887.00 (Commensurate with experience)
