Hundreds of county officials will be in Albany from January 30th through February 1st for this year’s NYSAC Legislative Conference.
Leadership, change, mandates and the State budget are among the features of the three day training program that will include an array of timely and informative programs designed to support the day-to-day work of county government.
The closing general session, scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, 2012, will include a panel and discussion on the impact State mandates have on county budgets, and county efforts to encourage State lawmakers to enact meaningful mandate relief during the 2012 Legislative Session.
There is still time to register. Online and fax registrations will be accepted through Monday, January 23, 2012. After that, walk in registration is available, and welcome, at the conference. For more information and to sign up, click here. (Jeanette Stanziano)
