The State Budget proposal authorizes the CHIPS and Marchiselli Capital Aid Programs to counties, cities, towns and villages for State Fiscal Year 2012-13 at approximately $363.1 million and $39.7 million, respectively.  The bill would extend the eligibility of certain highway work types  (micro-surfacing, paver placed surface treatment, single and double course surface treatment using chip seals oil and stone), for CHIPS reimbursement through March 31, 2013.
