The Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Cabinet recently released the latest set of it’s the proposals that it has received for projects. This list shows projects submitted by municipalities, organizations and individuals throughout New York State.
The list of projects by county.
Projects on this list have been reviewed by staff to the Economic Recovery Cabinet and have been forwarded to the appropriate NewYork State agency (as identified in the listing) for a determination of potential funding eligibility and next steps.Inclusion in the list in no way implies acceptance, validation or certification of any project. Further, inclusion does not in any way imply that a project either qualifies for or will receive funding under one or more ARRA programs.
If you are looking for a particular project and do not find it, that does not mean or imply its rejection. The Cabinet has received more than 14,000 projects, in various hard-copy and electronic formats. If you cannot locate a project that you submitted during the last 7 days please wait for the next update before notifying the cabinet of a potential omission. If you cannot locate a project submitted more than 7 days ago, go to http://www.economicrecovery.ny.gov and click on the link to "submit proposals" and resubmit.
Stimulus Funding Supports Weatherization Projects
New York State’s Division of Housing and Community Renewal is receiving funds under the American Recovery and Reinvest Act (ARRA) for the Weatherization Assistance Program. This program helps income-eligible families and individuals reduce their heating/cooling costs and improve the safety of their homes through energy efficiency measures. The brochure linked below lists local service providers by county as well as contact information for DHCR Regional Offices. This program is a valuable resource as the winter months approach and many individuals look to lower their energy costs by weatherizing their homes.
