Fall 2008 Graduates                      

Seven County officials were honored by their peers at the NYSAC Fall Seminar in Niagara Falls for graduating from the Dennis A. Pelletier County Government Institute.

The Pelletier Institute is an educational program established by the New York State Association of Counties in conjunction with Cornell University. The Institute was created to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of county officials allowing them to engage in informed, constructive and civil discussions on the challenges they face as public servants.

The seven graduates were Brenda Donohue, Livingston County Supervisor; Mary Pat Hancock, Genesee County Legislative Chair; Mary Krause, Madison County Personnel Officer; Willie Joe Lightfoot, Monroe County Legislator; Jerry Marinich, Broome County Legislator; Lucille McKnight, NYSAC President and Albany County Legislator; and Jay Wilbur, Broome County Public Defender.
